Sessions with the teacher still make up around one-third of the courses, however: “”This is very important, since only the teacher, through his or her personal contact with the participant, can recognize where there are gaps that need to be filled and more work needs to be done in a specific area,’’ Kamutsch explains. In addition to the basic course, the Cambridge Institute offers a range of different diploma courses. The examinations are set by Cambridge University, and internationally recognized.
Useful for Participants
This is useful for participants’ careers, of course, like all other forms of part-time learning, while the contacts made on the courses can also be an important building block when planning for the future – over and above the acquisition of cambial new knowledge. The postgraduate courses run by the universities and business schools described here are attended by the managers of today and tomorrow. Exchange of experiences and networking between the participants is intensively promoted by the course designers.
